Product introduction:
The 15kV European-style front arrester can be directly connected to bushing bases or wall bushings. The rear-plug type arrester connects with front or other rear plugs to provide overvoltage protection for electrical equipment. The gap in the arrester plug features excellent linearity, ensuring low residual voltage, high discharge capacity, fast response, and strong steep wave interference suppression, effectively protecting transmission and distribution equipment from lightning and overvoltage, ensuring reliable operation.
Working principle: Arresters are usually connected between the live conductor and the ground, in parallel with the protected equipment. When the overvoltage value reaches the specified operating voltage, the surge arrester immediately activates, allowing the charge to pass through and limiting the overvoltage amplitude to protect the insulation of the equipment. Once the voltage returns to normal, the surge arrester quickly returns to its original state to ensure the normal power supply of the system.
