The 24kV European-style arrester is designed for electrical systems and can be installed with European-style front or rear plugs to provide overvoltage protection. It is widely
used in switchgear, substations, and cable branch boxes, ensuring reliable operation under harsh conditions. With a fully endosed, insulated, and shielded design, the
arrester uses EPDM rubber, offering UV resistance and durability for outdoor use. It provides fast overvoltage response, reducing residual voltage, and is easy to install at
various angles, with enhanced safety and stress control from the conductive outer layer.
Insulation: The unique formulation and mixing technology ensures the high quality of prefabricated EPDM insulation rubber.
Outer semiconducting layer: Prefabricated EPDM conductive rubber conforms to the IEEE 592 standard.
Arrester core: It consists of a special process zinc oxide eliminator valve.
Copper bottom cover: The copper bottom cover is tightly combined with the outer conductive layer of the arrester to make the arrester effectivelly waterproof and provide a
grounding point for the arrester.
Grounding wire: The grounding wire that is connected to the lower end of the arrester is used to effectively connect the electric shock voltage to the grounding position.
Inner semiconducting layer: Prefabricated EPDM conductive rubber effectivelly controls electrical stress,
Stud: Tinned copper bolts ensure a tight fit between the conductor and the sleeve.
Insulator End Cap: Provides an insulating seal for the product.
